What I do

Servo and motion control

Multi-axis positioning, electronic gearing and camming, flying shears, winders and synchronised transport. Sizing, tuning and commissioning of the drives, plus the software that coordinates them.

Robot movement

Robots that pick, place, palletise and assemble in step with the rest of the line. Path planning, conveyor tracking, safe interaction with machine sequences and integration into the machine controller.

Custom vision systems

Inspection, measurement and guidance built for the part in front of the camera. Lighting, optics and algorithms selected for the job, and results fed straight back into the motion that acts on them.


Platforms

I work daily on Beckhoff TwinCAT, Siemens SIMATIC and TIA Portal, Trio Motion and other CoDeSys-based controllers — so the solution is built on the platform your maintenance team already knows, not on whatever I happen to prefer.
